Matthews Sentenced to 37 Years in Prison

A Hannibal man is sentenced Thursday to consecutive sentences in Adams County Circuit Court.

46 year old Euron Matthews was sentenced to 22 years for being an armed habitual criminal and 15 years for aggravated discharge of a firearm, with the terms to be served consecutively.

Matthews is alleged to have fired into a moving vehicle in Quincy last November 12th.

An Adams County jury found Matthews guilty of the charges July 18th.
