A Jacksonville man has been sentenced to 40 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for his part in two 2019 Pike County home invasions.

Tyler Runk had pleaded guilty in March to three counts of home invasion, three counts of theft and one count each of residential burglary, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and possession of a stolen firearm.

Runk is one of four men accused in a series of home invasions in Adams, Pike and Scott counties in August of 2019.

Germarco Tate originally had pled guilty to theft and home invasion and was sentenced, then filed a motion to withdraw his guilty plea.

Jordan Gallup pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
The fourth man, Edwin Powell, filed a motion for a fitness assessment in March.
