Authorities say one person is in custody but 2 others remain at large after a masked man held up the Bank Midwest in Moberly Friday morning.

The Moberly Monitor-Index reports police were called to the bank at 9:45 a.m. Friday.  A man allegedly entered the bank wearing a Halloween mask and displaying a handgun.  He obtained an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a gray Honda.  Witnesses reported at least one shot was fired, but no injuries were reported.

The car was spotted on Highway 63 and was soon found in a commuter parking lot south of Moberly.  Authorities believe a total of 3 suspects fled on foot into a nearby cornfield.  Moberly Police and the Missouri Highway Patrol canvassed the area and arrested one subject Friday afternoon.

The FBI was called in to assist with the ongoing investigation.
