As many as 60 proprietors of various show caves from around the country are in Hannibal this week for the 52nd annual meeting of the National Caves Association.

The hostess for this year’s get together is Mark Twain Cave’s Linda Coleberd.

The cave owners in town will be treated to tours of both Mark Twain and Cameron Caves, along with educational presentations on white nose syndrome in bats, and will get to tour all of Hannibal’s Mark Twain sites.

The National Caves Association’s annual meeting, which runs through Friday, marks the first time the group has met in Hannibal since 1979.
