If you've never been to the Mark Twain Cave you're missing gout, it's got so much history, and there is no need to drive hours away, it's right in our backyard. Well. onlyinyourstate.com just gave the cave a major two thumbs up.

Definitely carve out enough time to visit the Mark Twain Cave Complex too, right in Hannibal, where you can join a guided tour of the cave, sip wine at Cave Hollow West Winery, and pitch a tent or park for RV for an overnight in the campground.

If you haven't visited the Cave Hollow West Winery (which is right next to the cave) you're missing out on some really good Missouri wine. Many of their bathes are small, but that gives you a chance to try them all when you visit. Onlyinyourstate.com raved about the indoor and outdoor sitting options, the Mark Twain Sampling Series, and the overall experience you will get at the winery. I don't know about you, but I am ready for a visit when the weather is nice.

Each features a whimsical name – the Jumping Frog, Mississippi Rolling Red, and Hometown, for example. The winery offers both indoor and outdoor seating, the latter of which is particularly enchanting on those warm, breezy Missouri days.

I don't know about you but I can't wait to head to Hannibal this summer, sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine. Mother Nature just needs to make up her mind about the weather. We are big supporters of Shop Local, which also includes Drink Local and Eat Local, these small-town businesses need our help, let's support them as much as we can.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
