Marion County Commissioners no longer support the proposed Clean Line Transmission line planned to run through northeast Missouri.

Lyndon Bode, Larry Welch and Randy Spratt signed a letter Monday rescinding support for the project. Commissioners cite conncerns over eminent domain and other property issues and sentiments of Marion County residents against the project.

Bode says commissioners originally supported the project because company officials assured them that they would work with landowners. Clean Line Energy is now seeking public utility status which would give eminent domain.
