Marion County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Rural Burglaries

Marion County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a rash of burglaries in rural areas of the county.

According to Sergeant Brock Decker, the sheriff’s office has taken numerous reports of residential burglaries in the last 30 days.

All of the burglaries were off Highway P in the Durham and Maywood areas, and they all took place while the residents were not home.

Sergeant Decker encourages the public to secure their residences and property. If you have any information on these burglaries, you’re asked to contact the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
