Man Wanted in Hannibal Shooting Arrested in Mexico
A man wanted in connection with a shooting last week has been arrested after he was found hiding in Mexico, Missouri.
Detectives with the Hannibal Police Department arrested Martez D. Peete at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon, in connection with the January 28 shooting in the 400 block of N. Arch.
Detectives located Peete at a home in Mexico, hiding in an attic. He was arrested and placed in the Marion County Jail on a Parole Violation detainer and a 24 hour hold pending warrants from the shooting. Hannibal Detectives were assisted with the arrest by officers of the Mexico Department of Public Safety.
