Man Arrested in Quincy After Allegedly Pointing Gun at Hannibal Gas Station Attendant
One man has been arrested following a pursuit by law enforcement from Hannibal to Quincy.
According to WGEM, a man driving a black SUV was refused service at Ables Quick Shop on Broadway in Hannibal at approximately 9 a.m. The attendant at the gas station claims the man pulled a gun and pointed it at her through the window before driving off.
KHQA says that the Pike County Sheriff's Department spotted the vehicle and followed it to Quincy, where the Quincy Police Department, Illinois State Police and Adams County Sheriff’s Department also became involved in the pursuit. The SUV was reportedly stopped in John Wood Community College's parking lot just at about 10:15.
The suspect's name has not yet been released. The investigation into the incident continues.
