What proved to be a very popular series of events last year is back for 2014.

The LMAO Comedy Series returns to the State Room in Quincy Friday, January 31.

Featured performers will be comedians Nathan Timmel and Bobby Ray Bunch. Timmel is a 14 year veteran of the stand-up circuit. He's from Iowa City, Iowa and specializes in the "slice of life" kind of comedy that lots of folks can identify with.

Timmel's opening act is Bobby Ray Bunch, also an Iowa product who's a comparative newcomer on the comedy scene.

Tickets are going fast for Friday night's performance. VIP tickets are $15, with general admission priced at $10. You can get tickets at Second String Music and Bailey's Coffee and Fudge in Quincy and Rustic Oak Grill & Pub in Hannibal.

This is the first of three LMAO Comedy Shows in Quincy for 2014, with future concerts set for April and October.
