UPDATE: Minnesota Man in Custody After Lewis County Manhunt
UPDATE:
A Minnesota man is in custody after leaving the scene of a traffic crash east of Lewistown Thursday morning.
According to Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish, Highway Patrol troopers attempted to make a traffic stop in Clark County when the subject fled the area. The subject crashed his car on Highway 16 about a mile east of Lewistown. The subject, identified as 38 year old Lashaun Dixon of Minneapolis, then fled the scene on foot. He was last seen running near the Lewis County Fairgrounds.
He was taken into custody by state troopers about mid-afternoon Thursday.
Dixon was taken to the Lewis County Jail.

Authorities in Lewis County are looking for a man who fled the scene of a traffic crash east of Lewistown Friday morning.
According to Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish, Highway Patrol troopers attempted to make a traffic stop in Clark County when the subject fled the area. The subject crashed his car on Highway 16 about a mile east of Lewistown. The subject, identified as 38 year old Lashaun Dixon of Minneapolis, then fled the scene on foot. He was last seen running near the Lewis County Fairgrounds.
Dixon is described as a black male, six feet tall, 160 pounds, last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray t-shirt.
Officials do not believe Dixon poses a direct threat to the public, although he could try and continue to run by stealing a vehicle.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Lashaun Dixon is asked to contact their local law enforcement.
