LaPlata Man Killed in Crash on US 63

A two vehicle crash on US 63 at LaPlata at 10:15 Wednesday morning claims the life of a LaPlata man.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says 61 year old Richard Martin of LaPlata pulled onto 63 and into the path of a van driven by 56 year old Jane Perry of Columbia. Troopers say Martin was pronounced dead at Northeast Regional Hospital in Kirksville. Perry was taken to the hospital in Kirksville for treatment of moderate injuries.
