LaBelle Burglary Report Results in One Arrest

A report of a possible burglary in LaBelle leads to an arrest.
Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies say they arrived to find a door kicked open.
Deputies entered and found 43 year old Steven Clay in the residence. Clay was arrested following an investigation for second degree property damage. Deputies say charges are also pending against Clay for tampering with a motor vehicle following an incident last April. Clay is held in the Lewis County Jail pending a court appearance.
