A Quincy man gets prison time after pleading guilty to arson in Adams County Circuit Court Monday.

42 year old Jamey Kuhlmeier entered the plea and was immediately sentenced to six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Kuhlmeier was also sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to domestic battery, which will be served consecutively with the arson sentence.

And, there will be a concurrent three year sentence served for possession of a controlled substance.

Kuhlmeier was arrested January 21st after allegedly setting a car on fire at 1624 Broadway and dousing a residence with a flammable liquid.
