Kansas City Police Officer and K-9 Officer Killed in Collision

Sad news to pass along from Kansas City, Missouri police. One of their officers and a K-9 were killed in a collision late Wednesday night.

The Kansas City, Missouri Police shared this sad news on their Facebook page involving a vehicle that collided with one of their officers who also was part of a K-9 unit.

The name of the Kansas City Police officer and dog were just shared by the department on Twitter.

They note that the pedestrian that was also hit in the collision is now deceased, but no name has been provided. As the investigation continues, new details will be added as they are released by Kansas City police. They also mentioned that there are persons claiming to have dashcam video of the collision, but those are fake and allegedly being shared by those trying to steal information off of devices.
