After a dry June, Mother Nature flipped the script with a wetter than average July.

According to numbers from the Hannibal Filter Plant, there was 6.73 inches of rainfall in Hannibal in July, compared with an average of 4.32 inches.

The rainiest days in July were the 2nd when 1.34 inches of rain fell, the 19th, when 1.03 inches was received and the 24th, when the Filter Plant recorded 1.24 inches of rain.

Hannibal had its share of heat in July. There were a half dozen days when the high temperature topped 90 degrees. The hottest day was the 23rd, when the high reached 95.
