Missouri Penny Worth 4,000 Bucks? Yes, When It Has this Error
It's hard to believe that pennies still in circulation in Missouri can be worth this much money, but collectors swear it's true. As a matter of fact, a video claims that there's one penny that isn't that old that can be worth up to 4,000 bucks if it has one simple area.
Time to check your pockets and/or jars as this is a 1999 penny that may look normal on the front, but The Coin Guy on TikTok says there is something to look for.
Check the back carefully and specifically in the top right part of the penny where you see "America". Look between the "A" and the "M".
If you see a significant space, you have a rare one that could be worth up to $4,000 based on what one sold at auction for. Keep in mind that when you see a penny or any coin for that matter selling for thousands, it has to be mint condition. The good news is if you have a 1999 penny with the error and it isn't in great shape, they can still be worth up to $140 which is epic for one cent.
