One of the Top 5 Hotel Bars in the US is in Illinois

According to Yelp, the 4th best hotel bar in the country is The Berkshire Room in Chicago, Illinois. The Berkshire Room is one of only 3 bars in the Midwest to make the top 30 along with The Bar at Palm Court in Cincinnati which ranked 12th, and the 360 Rooftop Bar in St. Louis (which I have been to and it gives you spectacular views of Downtown St. Louis, the Ballpark, and the Mississippi River).

What makes The Berkshire Room special?

On their website, they say...

"One of Chicago’s most respected cocktail bars, The Berkshire Room is a craft cocktail lounge from The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group that is free of pretension while giving you, the guest, unparalleled service in sleek and refined surroundings."

They also have a thing called Dealer's Choice where the bartenders will come up with a one-of-a-kind cocktail for you based on your choice of liquor and flavor profile.

The Berkshire Room is located inside the Acme Hotel in Chicago, and on the Acme Hotel's website, they say...

"If you're looking to mix things up, ACME is the right choice for you. Located 2 ½ blocks from the Magnificent Mile in the River North neighborhood, ACME is downtown Chicago's lifestyle hotel alternative for the tragically hip. I have never stayed at the Acme Hotel or had a drink at The Berkshire Room but both of them look incredible from the photos on Yelp and their websites. I would say if I had to order one drink from the menu at The Berkshire Room, I would order the Delta Saloon which is a Buffalo Trace whiskey drink, or pay the $6 for a Miller High Life...
