According to WGN, the King of Country George Strait will be playing at Soldier Field in Chicago on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 with Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town. In the article on WGN, they say...

"George Strait and Chris Stapleton announced an extension of their current performances at stadiums around the country into 2024, with Soldier Field being added to the list of venues....For the Soldier Field show, aisle seating, early access, and VIP package presale tickets for the show will go on sale Friday, September 15 at 10 a.m. central time. Sales to the general public are slated to begin on Friday, September 22 at 10 a.m. central time."

I don't think the average Chicagoan knows what is coming their way...George Strait and Chris Stapleton are going to put on a heck of a show along the lakefront in the Windy City and the city will be overrun with country music fans that evening. If you are one of those Chicagoans who hates Lollapalooza (like I was when I lived in the city for years) then this will be similar only instead of a bunch of bros in basketball jerseys and teen girls jaywalking, this will be boots, cowboy hats, dip spit, and jeans. I would LOVE to be at this show, and I know Chicago will give a warm welcome to the King of Country!
