Illinois Department on Aging Warns of Scam

The Illinois Department on Aging says seniors should be wary after a recent scam fooled two elderly women. A man who claimed to work at the women's bank said an employee was stealing from their accounts. He asked for their help to catch the thief and persuaded them to withdraw cash and meet him, getting away with almost $7,000.
