Illinois Department of Agriculture Encourages Residents to Buy Local

The Illinois Department of Agriculture is kicking off a campaign that's aimed at encouraging people to buy locally grown fruits and vegetables. Agriculture officials say the state could see a $20 billion a year increase in economic activity if consumers increased spending on locally grown food by 10 percent.
