(Quincy) – Authorities in western Illinois made a dozen arrests Thursday, all on outstanding federal warrants.

Adams County Sheriff Brent Fischer says his deputies, along with the West Central Illinois Drug Task Force, the Meth Response Team, Quincy Police and the U.S. Marshall’s Service served warrants and made 12 arrests Thursday.

The charges against those taken into custody ranged from sexual abuse to domestic battery to drug charges to possession of a firearm by a felon.

Sheriff Fischer says he expects more arrests to be made.
