IL Dept of Employment Security Hosts Quincy Hiring Event Thursday

The Illinois Department of Employment Security and a number of other agencies host an employers’ workshop and hiring event in Quincy Thursday.

The workshop for employers runs from 9 to 9:45 a.m. and covers tax incentives and establishing specialized workforce training.

The hiring event runs from 10 a.m. till noon at the Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center at 639 York.

Along with IDES, Thursday’s event is sponsored by the West Central Area Agency on Aging, Two Rivers Regional Council, Quincy Workforce Service Center, National Able, John Wood Community College and the Illinois Department of Human Services Division and Rehabilitation Services and Family Community Services.
