Hollister Whitney Hosts Hiring Event Thursday

One of Quincy’s oldest manufacturers hosts a hiring event Thursday.

Representatives from Hollister Whitney will be at the Quincy Workforce Center at 107 North 3rd from 2 to 4 p.m.

Hollister Whitney, the largest independent supplier of elevator equipment in the nation currently has openings in team assembly, shipping, painting, welding and fabrication.

Company officials will be on hand to discuss the various positions, and applications will be available.

Thursday’s hiring event is sponsored by the Illinois Department of Employment Security.
