Starting Wednesday, Hy-Vee customers will be limited on how much meat they can purchase.

Citing a shortage of workers in packing plants and increased meat sales, Hy-Vee announces that they will limit customers to four packages of a combination of fresh beef, ground beef, pork or chicken when they check out, effective Wednesday, May 6th.

The new limitations apply to all 265 Hy-Vee locations across the Midwest, including the two locations in Quincy.
