Huckstep Pleads Guilty to First Degree Murder
A Quincy man pleads guilty to murder charges in connection with a shooting death in Quincy last December.
In Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday, 51 year old Christopher Huckstep pleaded guilty to an amended charge of first degree murder. As part of a plea deal, two additional murder counts were dismissed.
Huckstep had been charged in the shooting death of 26 year old Emond Morris on December 4th, 2019.
Morris was found shot to death in a home in the 700 block of Cedar Street. The two had allegedly been involved in a domestic dispute.
Sentencing is set for August 7th. Huckstep remains in the Adams County Jail.
