High Water Closes US 61 At Alexandria

High water on the Mississippi and Des Moines River means closure of US 61 and Missouri 136 at Alexandria. MODOT officials say the duration of the closure is unknown at this time. Forecast flood crests are lower than they were late last week, but a second round of crests is expected next week...
