Hannibal takes the driver's seat in the NCMC and Class 4 District 7 with a 28-21 win over Mexico. A blocked punt by Dylan Powell and his 25 yard return of the block gave Hannibal a 21-7 lead with 1:25 left in the second quarter. Jerry McBride opened the scoring with a 66 yard run with 9:04 left in the first quarter. McBride also found Shamar Griffith for a 34 yard touchdown pass and McBride also caught a 5 yard TD pass from Trevor Watson. Griffith had 74 yards rushing on 16 carries. McBride ran for 71 yards on 11 carries.
