(BOWLING GREEN)--A pre-trial hearing is Tuesday for a man accused of breaking out of the Pike County Jail last September.

Jason Darnell of Louisiana is charged with escape, damage to jail property and theft. He also faces sentencing Tuesday after pleading guilty to failure to register as a sex offender in a separate case.

Three other men arrested in the jailbreak – Joseph Verive of Clarksville, and Jacob Darnell and Emmanuel Chatman of Louisiana – have pleaded guilty and been sentenced to prison terms of six to seven years each.

One other suspect – William Wilkerson of Saint Louis – has a case review Tuesday.    Meanwhile, Tordale Chatman of Louisiana is accused of hindering prosecution for allegedly driving three of the jailbreak suspects from Bowling Green to Louisiana. His trial is set for June.
