Hannibal’s Victorian Festival of Christmas Begins Saturday
A month long Christmas celebration begins Saturday in downtown Hannibal.
Along with the nationwide observance of Small Business Saturday, the Hannibal Historic Marketing Council kicks off its Victorian Festival of Christmas with a number of activities.
The Mark Twain Museum will spend the day celebrating Mark Twain’s Birthday with an Artisan and Craft Fair and a book signing at 10 a.m., pictures with Santa at 11, a mustache competition at 1 p.m., masquerade mask winners announcement at 2, and a presentation of the radio drama Huck at 5 p.m.
Also going on downtown are horse drawn carriage rides from 11 to 3, stockings with souvenir ornaments and coupons for sale all day, and a holiday lighting ceremony at the boyhood home at 5 p.m.
The Victorian Festival of Christmas continues every weekend through December 17th.
