This is weekend number three of the Victorian Festival of Christmas in downtown Hannibal.

The highlights on today’s schedule include the annual Living Windows displays in the historic district from 5 to 8 p.m., and the attempt to set a Guinness world record for the largest dessert event. Organizers are shooting for 2,019 people to eat cupcakes at the same time tonight downtown.

Also going on today are the candy cane hunt, pictures with Santa, the Parks and Rec’s snowball toss and music, marshmallows and mistletoe at the Y Men’s Pavilion, and the monthly second Saturday gallery night.
