Hannibal Woman to Stand Trial in Wrong-Way Crash
A Hannibal woman will stand trial for her part in a wrong-way traffic crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist last summer.
46 year old Christina Conlin was in Marion County Circuit Court Tuesday, facing charges of assault and possession of a controlled substance.
Conlin is alleged to have been behind the wheel of a car that was allegedly going the wrong way in the 600 block of Center last August 24th and struck a motorcycle.
The cyclist suffered serious injuries including a severed leg.
Officers reported that Conlin and her passengers showed signs of impairment at the crash scene. Evidence of marijuana, meth and alcohol were allegedly found in the Conlin car.
A trial date has yet to be set.
Conlin remains in the Marion County Jail.
