A Hannibal woman who was to have gone on trial next week pleads guilty to an amended charge.

29 year old Amy Spegal pleaded guilty to second degree endangering the welfare of a child. Judge David Mobley sentenced Spegal to a year in the county jail and two years probation, with the jail time suspended depending on how she does on probation.

Spegal was arrested last October 14th by Hannibal Police. She is alleged to have thrown her baby at an officer and ran into a bathroom, presumably to destroy drug evidence.
