Hannibal Woman Arrested for Domestic Assault

A Hannibal woman is in custody as the result of an apparent domestic dispute Thursday.

Hannibal Police responded to a report of a female chasing a male with a knife in the 1800 block of Broadway.

Upon arrival, officers found that the male victim had been transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital with lacerations to his head and neck.

The suspect, identified as 21 year old Mia Buckner, was still at the scene.

Buckner was taken into custody for second degree domestic assault and taken to the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour hold.

The victim was treated and released after medical treatment.
