A traffic crash involving a pickup truck on Mark Twain Avenue in Hannibal results in a power outage early Sunday morning.

Media reports indicate the pickup struck a utility pole near the JB Hawks Tobacco Shop just before 2 a.m. Sunday.

Hannibal Board of Public Works crews were at the scene of the crash until late morning, restoring power and cleaning up debris.

Power was restored for most residents by about 8:30 a.m.

No further details of the crash were available from Hannibal Police.

KHMO was off the air for about four hours early Sunday morning as a result of the outage.
