The Pirates wasted little time in getting into the lead.

Griffith ran for 137 yards on 23 carries. The Pirates dominated the numbers in the box score. Hannibal rolled up 522 yards in total offense despite the running clock being in effect for much of the second half.  437 of those yards were on the ground.

Kirksville was limited to 138 yards on the night. The Tigers were also flagged for 13 penalties yielding 145 yards in losses.

Two Pirates scored their first varsity touchdowns. Quarterback Trevor Watson scored on a 10 yard run in the late going and running back Will Sewell got away for a 73 yard run to wrap up the scoring.

Mexico is up next. The Bulldogs visit Porter Stadium Friday night.
