Hannibal Regional Hospital welcomed the First Baby of 2014, Ruth Evelyn Russell, on January 2. Ruth was born to John and Lisa Russell of Monroe City at 11:55 am on Thursday, January 2, 2014, weighing 7 lbs 9 oz. and was 19 inches long. Ruth has two sisters, Anna and Isabelle, who were excited to meet their sister and are ready to bring her home.
