Hannibal Police are investigating apparent vandalism incidents at a local grade school.

HPD reports the window on a door at Oakwood Elementary School was damaged sometime between 3:45 and 4:18 p.m. Monday. There was damage to another window late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, then three more windows were damaged sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

Officials say all the damage appears to have been caused by rocks or a BB or pellet gun during times when school was not in session. HPD also says there is no evidence to suggest there is any danger to the public or students at Oakwood.

If you have any information you believe would help in the investigation, you’re asked to contact Hannibal Police or the Hannibal Public School District Central Office.
