Hannibal Police Investigate Settlers Trail Altercation

Hannibal Police are investigating an incident that took place Saturday.

HPD responded to a report of a disturbance on Settlers Trail.

Officers learned that there had been a physical altercation and two subjects were transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Initial reports indicated that a firearm had been discharged, but, so far, HPD cannot confirm that there were gunshots.

The investigation continues.
