Hannibal Police Investigate Monday Morning Stabbing

Hannibal Police are investigating an apparent stabbing incident.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Dulaney Street at 8:35 a.m. Monday to check the wellbeing of a man on the ground.

Officers discovered that the man had suffered a stab wound to the abdomen.

The victim was taken by Life Flight to St. Louis for treatment.

Police do not believe that this was a random act, so there is no threat to the general public.
