Hannibal Police Break Up Motorcycle Theft Ring
The execution of a search warrant by Hannibal Police results in the break-up of a motorcycle theft ring Tuesday.
The search for stolen property in the 900 block of Ernest revealed two stolen motorcycles and a box trailer that had been stolen in other jurisdictions.
Officers had previously found two other cycles in Hannibal, also believed to have been stolen.
Officers arrested 27 year old Corey Roach and 25 year old Taylor Roach, both of Hannibal for receiving stolen property.
Taylor Roach was released pending application of a warrant.
Corey Roach was charged Wednesday with two counts of felony stealing, with bond set at $25,000 cash or surety.
The arrests come as the result of an investigation by Hannibal Police, in conjunction with authorities in St. Peter’s and Canton, Missouri, Keokuk, Iowa and McDonough County, Illinois.
