(Hannibal)--Police report a suspect is in custody after a convenience store was robbed at 3:43 p.m. Saturday.

Police rushed to the Oakwood Pick-a-Dilly Quik Stop located at 3531 Market Street , after reports a black male came into the store, demanded money and fled on foot.  The man is reported to have brandished a handgun.  The suspect escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was physically harmed during the incident, but one employee was transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital for stress related medical issues.

Police apprehended a suspect in connection with the robbery at 5:23 p.m.  He was found at a residence on Center Street.

Officials say more information will be released later as it is deemed appropriate.
