Hannibal Man Wins $20,000 Scratchers Prize

A break from his regular lottery ticket buying routine led to a big payday for a Hannibal man.

In a press release, the Missouri Lottery announces that 51 year old Kurt Krigbaum recently won a $20,000 prize as the result of playing the “Diamond Dollars” scratchers game.

Lottery officials say that Krigbaum usually spends only a dollar or two on scratchers tickets, but this time splurged for the five dollar ticket that proved to be a big winner.

Krigbaum purchased his ticket at the Pick-A-Dilly on St. Mary’s Avenue on November 5th.
