Hannibal Man Wanted in Fatal Shooting Taken into Custody

A Hannibal man has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting death of another Hannibal man two weeks ago.

Hannibal Police report 26 year old Corey Cobb was taken into custody by U.S. Marshalls in the St. Louis area Wednesday.

A warrant was issued June 5th by the 10th Judicial Circuit, charging Cobb with second degree murder in the death of 45 year old Billy Williams.

HPD officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2100 block of Gordon the evening of June 4th. Williams was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
