Hannibal Man Wanted in Connection with Fatal Shooting
Hannibal Police are on the lookout for a Hannibal man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting Thursday night.
Officers were called to a report of a shooting in the 2100 block of Gordon shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday.
They arrived to find 45 year old Billy Williams with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by Marion County Coroner Rick Jones about an hour later.
A warrant was issued by the 10th Judicial Circuit Court Friday, charging 26 year old Corey Cobb with second degree murder.
