A Hannibal man is sentenced to three years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. That sentence follows a guilty plea to one count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Marion County Prosecuting Attorney David Clayton says 32-year-old Ryan Thompson received the sentence following a guilty plea.

Thompson is  one of three men arrested last month after an investigation by the Northeast Missouri Narcotics Task Force. Also arrested were former Stowell School principal J.D. Foust and Samuel Foust of Hannibal.
