The execution of a search warrant Tuesday results in the arrest of a Hannibal man.

Officers assigned to the Hannibal Police Department Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad served a narcotics search warrant in the 1900 block of Chestnut.

The search revealed a substance believed to be heroine and items consistent with the distribution and sale of narcotics. A stolen handgun was also recovered.

28 year old Anthony Williams was taken into custody without incident.

Williams was charged Wednesday with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon and stealing.

Williams is in the Marion County Jail on $50,000 bond.
