Hannibal Man Arrested on Burglary Charges

On Thursday, March 5, at 10:58 a.m. officers of the Hannibal Police Department located 18 year old Kalin M Anderson, of Hannibal, in the 3900 block of Cheyenne. Anderson was wanted on an active warrant for Burglary.

When officers made contact with Anderson, he resisted arrest and fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit, Anderson was apprehended and arrested on the warrant. Anderson was also charged with Resisting Arrest, 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Anderson was placed in the Marion County Jail on the burglary warrant and pending warrants on the additional charges.

A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
