A Hannibal man has been charged in connection with an alleged robbery at knifepoint Monday.

About 6 p.m. Monday, a man reported to Hannibal Police that he had been robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash by a male with a knife.

At 11:44 p.m. Monday, officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Singleton in reference to a suspicious male matching the description of the robbery suspect.

Taken into custody without incident was 34 year old Joshua Watkins.
Watkins was charged Tuesday with unlawful use of a weapon. Bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety. He remains lodged in the Marion County Jail.
