Hannibal Man Arrested for Lewis County Child Endangerment

A Hannibal man was arrested on child endangerment charges in Lewis County Sunday.

According to Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish, 35 year old Matthew Wisdom is alleged to have endangered the welfare of a 13 year old female in his care in Taylor in May of 2018.

While in Wisdom’s care, the girl is alleged to have become extremely intoxicated and was taken to a medical facility for treatment.

Wisdom was originally taken into custody by Quincy Police, then transferred to Lewis County authorities, charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree.

Wisdom is in the Lewis County Jail on $20,000 cash only bond.
